Terms of Service
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Soontra's websites, applications, products, APIs, dashboards, collaboration tools, analytics tools, AI features, storage features, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). "Soontra," "we," "us," and "our" mean Soontra, headquartered in Miami, Florida, United States.
By creating an account, clicking to accept these Terms, connecting a third-party account, accessing the Service, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, agency, team, brand, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes that organization.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Soontra, a content workspace, collaboration, and multi-platform publishing platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using Soontra on behalf of a team, brand, or agency, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.
User Accounts and Security
Eligibility
Access to Soontra may require an invite code during certain launch periods.
Verification
Users must provide a valid email address and complete the verification process. Authentication emails (verification, password reset, magic-link sign-in, and email-change confirmations) are delivered through our email provider.
Credentials
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password (minimum 8 characters with uppercase and special characters). Sign-in forms are protected by a CAPTCHA challenge to deter automated abuse.
Account Lockout
For security, accounts are temporarily locked for 30 minutes after 10 consecutive failed login attempts.
Third-Party Integrations and Publishing
Soontra allows you to connect third-party platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, to view performance data and to publish, upload, and schedule content within and through the Service. Each integration is optional and is enabled only when you choose to connect the relevant account.
Authorization and your direction
Integrations use OAuth authorization, and you control which platforms you connect and which permissions you grant. Any action that publishes, uploads, schedules, or modifies content on a connected account is initiated by you or your authorized workspace members and carried out at your direction. You are responsible for the accounts you connect and for the actions taken through those connections within your workspace. Soontra connects to your YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram account only — it does not connect to or act on any other person's account on your behalf.
YouTube
By connecting YouTube and using Soontra's YouTube features, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and you acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy. Depending on the permissions you grant, Soontra can read your channel and analytics data and can upload and publish videos — along with their titles, descriptions, tags, custom thumbnails, visibility settings, and scheduling — to your channel at your direction. When you publish to YouTube, you are responsible for the declarations YouTube requires for each video, including whether the video is "made for kids" (in line with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and whether it contains altered or synthetic content (including AI-generated content). You may revoke Soontra's access at any time through your Google security settings or by disconnecting your channel in the Soontra Settings menu.
TikTok
By connecting TikTok and using Soontra's TikTok features, you agree to be bound by TikTok's applicable terms, including the TikTok Terms of Service and TikTok's developer and content policies. Depending on the permissions you grant, Soontra can read your public account and video data and can publish video content directly to your TikTok account using TikTok's Direct Post method. Before any content is sent to TikTok, you review and confirm the post settings for that specific post — including the privacy or audience level (which Soontra never pre-selects on your behalf), the comment, duet, and stitch interaction settings, and any commercial-content disclosure (branded content, your own promotional content, and AI-generated content where applicable) — and you provide explicit consent to publish. Soontra retrieves your current TikTok creator information at the time you compose a post so that the available options reflect your account's actual settings. You may revoke Soontra's access at any time through your TikTok account settings or by disconnecting TikTok in the Soontra Settings menu.
Instagram
By connecting Instagram and using Soontra's Instagram features, you agree to be bound by Meta's applicable terms, including the Meta Platform Terms and the Instagram Terms of Use. Soontra uses the Instagram API with Instagram Login, and Instagram publishing requires an Instagram Business or Creator (professional) account. Depending on the permissions you grant, Soontra can read profile, media, and insights data and can publish images, videos, reels, and carousels — together with their captions and, if you choose, an initial comment — to your professional account at your direction. You may revoke Soontra's access at any time through your Instagram or Meta app settings or by disconnecting Instagram in the Soontra Settings menu.
How your media is delivered
For YouTube, Soontra uploads your video file directly to YouTube. For Instagram and TikTok, those platforms retrieve your media themselves from a temporary, signed, time-limited link generated by Soontra (this is the platforms' required "pull from URL" delivery method). These links are short-lived and used only to deliver the specific content you have chosen to publish.
Platform compliance
You are responsible for ensuring that content you publish through Soontra complies with the applicable platform's community guidelines, advertising and branded-content policies, "made for kids"/COPPA and synthetic-media rules, and terms, as well as applicable law. Connected platforms may rate-limit, reject, delay, remove, or restrict content, and may change or discontinue their APIs, and Soontra is not responsible for platform decisions or availability outside our control.
AI Features and Credits
AI Usage
Features such as the AI Agent, Semantic Search, transcription, media understanding, and clip repurposing consume monthly AI credits.
Credit Reset
Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.
AI Agent
By utilizing the AI Agent, you acknowledge that it may execute "Page Actions" and control UI elements on your behalf based on your natural language inputs. Where an action publishes or uploads content to a connected platform, it is performed at your direction and subject to the integration terms above and to the same per-post review and confirmation steps that apply when you publish manually.
Payments, Subscriptions, and Storage
Plans and Pricing
Soontra offers multiple subscription plans. The plans, features, included storage, AI credits, and pricing that apply to your subscription are those described on our pricing page and presented to you at the time of purchase or signup. By subscribing, you agree to the price and plan terms shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe; Soontra does not store full card numbers.
Storage Limits
Each plan includes a storage allowance as described for that plan. If your plan is downgraded, you may need to reduce your storage usage below your new plan's allowance to continue uploading new files.
Refunds
Annual plans are typically eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase, except as otherwise required by law or stated at checkout.
Content Ownership and Responsibility
Ownership
You retain all rights to the media assets and content you upload to Soontra.
License to operate the Service
You grant Soontra the permissions necessary to host, store, process, transmit, and display your content in order to provide the Service, and — when you direct us to publish, upload, or schedule content to a connected platform — to transmit and deliver that content and its associated metadata to that platform on your behalf.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the content you upload and publish, including ensuring you have the rights to use and distribute it and that it complies with applicable law and the relevant platform's policies.
Workspace Isolation
Data is isolated per workspace; however, Workspace Owners and Admins are responsible for managing member access and permissions.
Limitation of Liability
Soontra is provided "as is." While we use third-party AI providers to power analysis and generation features, we do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated transcripts, descriptions, virality scores, or other AI outputs. We do not guarantee that any content will be successfully published to, or remain available on, any connected platform, as publishing depends on third-party APIs and platform decisions outside our control.
